About

I specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a treatment approach that focuses on helping you develop insight about underlying, often unconscious patterns that cause recurring symptoms and life difficulties. Insight about these patterns becomes transformative when it occurs in the context of a trusting and attuned therapeutic relationship. I am committed to developing a deep understanding of you that takes seriously the social, cultural and identity-based dimensions of your life experience.

I have completed extensive training in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy through fellowships at Depth Counseling and Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. I also hold advanced training in psychodynamic work with couples and families via a fellowship with the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England.

I have a particular affinity for supporting individuals in the perinatal period as well as those grappling with relational, existential, and spiritual questions.

In addition to my work with individuals, I offer psychodynamic couples and family sessions as well as perinatal groups.  View my Psychology Today profile here.
